You will join the SMD Innovation team and will play an important role contributing to the design and development of subsea vehicles and subsystems—working independently or in a small team.

You will play an important role contributing to the design and development of subsea vehicles and subsystems—working independently or in a small team.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyse engineering data to predict system behaviour and performance.
· Collaborate with design and development teams to incorporate engineering analysis and calculations to support product design.
· Validate calculation or simulation models against experimental results and refine as necessary.
· Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
· Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to product performance.
· Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards.
· Develop and execute computational models and simulations using appropriate software tools.
Essential Skills
· Proficient in simulation software such as ANSYS FEA, CFD, Orcaflex, or equivalent.
· Competence in engineering tools such as Autodesk Inventor, Mathcad, etc.
· Solid understanding of engineering principles and numerical methods.
· Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications/experience:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Navy Architecture Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
· +3 years relevant experience in industry
