The department operates from 10pm to 6am, with both morning and afternoon shifts available.

Our domestics are essential to the NHS's operation! You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness in wards, departments, corridors, and offices, making a real difference to patient care and safety.

Job Responsibilities
* Cleaning floors via vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and spray cleaning.
* Undertaking deep cleans in infection-affected areas.
* Removing rubbish, including domestic and clinical waste, to disposal points.
* Cleaning sanitary areas, toilets, sinks, shower cubicles, and staff changing rooms.
* Damp dusting surfaces, ledges, shelves, and curtain rails.
* Cleaning internal glass surfaces.
* Maintaining high cleanliness standards across all work areas.
* Handling urgent spot cleaning and spillages.
* Participating in relevant training on efficiency, fire safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
* Performing any other duties deemed appropriate.
Person Specification
Qualifications / Professional Registration
* Essential: Basic Food Hygiene and/or Level 1 Food Safety Certificate (to be achieved within 6 months of start).
* Essential: Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Desirable: NVQ Level 1 or 2, GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
Experience and Knowledge
* Essential: Previous domestic experience.
* Desirable: Customer Service training.
Other Requirements
This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. An DBS check will be required before employment.
