About the role Thank you for your interest in the fixed term post of ITT Hub Lead. This role is strategically a very important one, for both the Trust and wider education, attracting new entrants into the profession and ensuring they are well-trained and supported to become the very best possible teachers and leaders of the future. First and foremost, you will need to be an outstanding teacher yourself, to act as a great role model and inspiring ITT Hub Lead. You will also need to have high levels of energy and enthusiasm for the profession, attracting both those considering teaching as a profession and those who may never have thought about this most rewarding of careers. There are a number of exciting aspects to this role, which could be shared between more than one person, but principally fall into the two remits of Recruitment and Delivery. We would welcome applications from those in a position to be seconded into the role from their current schools or take on a fixed term contract. The Sussex Hub will be hosted in mid-Sussex, principally from St Paul’s Catholic College in Burgess Hill although travel to local primary settings and other partner schools will be required too. About BOSCO Working across three local authorities, the Bosco Catholic Education Trust was formed in April 2017 to serve all 34 schools across West Sussex, East Sussex and Brighton & Hove. There are currently 17 schools (3 Secondary and 14 Primary) within the Trust, all judged as Good or Outstanding. There are a further 2 schools in the process of joining in the next year.
