Commissioning Engineer - Automation Sector

Responsibilities:
1. Take part in the full project lifecycle for major brand-name customers in the space of warehouse automation across design, development and deployment
2. Visit customer sites frequently, with extended stays fully expensed + bonus
3. Take part in complex commissioning and electrical engineering under project deadlines
4. Work closely with a fast-paced Engineering team, including the UK managing director
5. Act as a domain expert in electrical commissioning for customers, acting as the interface between customer and the business
Requirements:
1. Commissioned and Installed complex capital equipment such as Robotics, PLCs or similar
2. 18th Edition Electrical, or 17th considered
3. HNC, HND, BSc in Electrical or Mechatronics or equivalent
4. 3+ years of professional experience in a similar field such as process controls, warehouse automation or industrial electrical engineering
5. SCADA
6. Full right to work in the UK
Bonus: PLC software advantageous. The business uses Siemens S7 / TIA portal. Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron is considered relevant experience. Specific industry experience in Warehouse Automation, or a genuine personal interest in this industry.
