Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early development? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming early years setting in Newton Abbot. This is a permanent full-time position, ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing, play-based learning environment.
* Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
* Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities that promote curiosity and creativity
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
* Support children with personal care, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with nursery staff, parents, and external professionals
* Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and reports
Qualifications
* A relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education or Childcare)
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* A genuine passion for early childhood education
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
