We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join the Operations Team in an established family-owned business in Leeds (LS11). Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment, a pioneer of super low loss amorphous transformer technology.

Reporting to the Senior Testing Engineer; key responsibilities will be the testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both inhouse and on site.
* In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels
* Testing of LV cabinets and control devices
* Complete protection modifications
Knowledge and Experience
* Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company
* Experience of testing and commissioning transformers essential.
* Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations is essential
* The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings is essential
* Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility
* Have good written and verbal communication skills
* Experience of working collaboratively with other operations personnel
* Ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment
* Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
* Good communication skills
* Flexibility to assist in other departments when required

Working hours:
Week 17.45 am and 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday(Friday off)
Week 27.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45 am to 15.15 pm on Friday
Salary £34k - 37k per annum
