Key Requirements
Qualifications & Training
* Completion of all mandatory and site-specific training
Experience & Skills
* Previous FMCG manufacturing experience (preferred)
* Understanding of continuous improvement methods
* Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills
* Accuracy, reliability, and ability to meet job demands
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair plant and equipment to high standards, ensuring minimal disruption
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), documenting checks and corrective actions
* Conduct visual inspections on machinery to detect wear, damage, or contamination risk
* Regularly test and maintain metal detection and failsafe systems
* Ensure safe use and maintenance of tools, spare parts, and engineering equipment
* Liaise with management and cross-functional teams regarding breakdowns and maintenance activities
* Uphold high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and workshop cleanliness
* Comply with all food safety, health & safety, and legal standards
* Support KPIs in quality, safety, environment, yield, and customer service
* Attend required training and ensure up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., HACCP, COSHH, H&S Act)
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and highlight areas for operational improvement
* Respect ethical policies and contribute positively to the team culture
