Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 1 (Full Time, CF11)
A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in the CF11 area is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The role:
You’ll be working closely with the class teacher to support learning across the Key Stage 1 curriculum, helping children to engage in lessons, build confidence, and reach their potential. The role will involve:
* Supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis where needed
* Assisting with phonics, literacy, and numeracy activities
* Encouraging positive behaviour and social skills
* Helping to prepare classroom materials and set up activities
* Taking part in creative, hands-on learning both inside and outside the classroom
The ideal candidate will be someone who:
* Has proven experience working in a primary school (KS1 experience is essential)
* Is confident supporting children of different abilities and needs
* Has a caring, patient, and proactive approach
* Enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team
* Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education
