Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Senior Conveyancer to join our team on-site at our Scarborough office. The Senior Conveyancer will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from inception to completion. Responsibilities include conducting title reviews, drafting and reviewing contracts, liaising with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role also involves providing excellent client service, offering clear and practical advice, and mentoring junior members of the team when required.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in residential and commercial property conveyancing processes, including title review, contract drafting, and property transactions.
* Proficient client communication skills with the ability to provide clear, practical, and tailored legal advice.
* Excellent administrative and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of legal compliance and regulatory requirements related to property transactions.
* Experience in using legal technology and digital tools to streamline work processes is highly desirable.
* Previous experience mentoring and guiding junior professionals is a plus.
* Qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive with a strong background in property law is required.
