About the Opportunity
This brand new Senior Category Manager role is a strategic, customer‑facing position designed to unlock category growth through deep data analytics and insight generation.
The Senior Category Manager will play a pivotal part in turning complex eCommerce, shopper and category data into actionable strategies, empowering commercial teams to make informed decisions and drive omnichannel success.
Responsibilities
* Translate large data sets into actionable insights using platforms such as Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Pacvue, SimilarWeb, and Power BI/Tableau.
* Develop and execute omnichannel strategies that bridge traditional retail and eCommerce to maximise growth potential.
* Lead reporting on performance metrics including digital shelf health, share of search, and conversion rates, delivering executive‑ready insights.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure category alignment across all channels.
* Act as a key business partner to major retail accounts, using category storytelling to influence decisions and deliver measurable results.
Qualifications
* 4–5 years’ experience in category management with strong exposure to eCommerce environments.
* Proven expertise in analysing complex data to identify opportunities, trends, and risks across online and offline channels.
* Confidence using analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to distil performance insights.
* Experience working with or for Amazon and other major online retailers.
* Super strong stakeholder management skills, able to present data and influence senior stakeholders at all levels within key retailers (ideally previously with Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, etc.).
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to bring data to life through insight‑led storytelling.
