We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Officer to join our team in Manchester on 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
The Risk and Compliance Officer (RCO) will be required to work with the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers to ensure all elements of professional standards and risk are integrated and managed within the legal services areas of the business.
The role offers exposure to a variety of compliance and risk work. You will have a hands on role in ensuring adherence to the relevant legal and regulatory requirements and that everyone provides the highest standard of service.
Responsibilities
* Review ID3 checks, interpreting the results and providing appropriate guidance to the business
* Monitoring and dealing with queries logged in the compliance portal, providing advice as required
* Assisting in the management of the compliance monitoring programme, conducting periodic compliance audits
* Providing assistance to the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers and AML Manager as and when required
About You
* Highly organised with the ability to manage a workload
* Good attention to detail
* Use initiative and be pro-active
* IT skills to include Microsoft packages, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* A basic understanding of the SRA's Codes of Conduct and general compliance issues
