FEA Finite Element Analysis Engineer - ANSYS
Our client is currently seeking talented FEA Structural Engineer to join their team and support them with a new Marine project. To Review, comment and approve drawings for subsea steel structures based upon Engineering Design.

Role
Perform Structural Analysis tasks in Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS.
Detailed stress analysis of offshore structures using the Finite Element Technique.
Detailed design calculations in accordance with latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC).
Prepare high-quality Design Reports and to maintain records in accordance with Department Operating Procedures
Experience
Degree in Mechanical / Design Engineering or similar.
Experience of delivering high-quality Structural Engineering using Finite Element Analysis.
Highly Skilled in using ANSYS for FEA.
Ability to apply engineering principles to solve challenging problems and to work effectively within a small team.
Background in the design of structures for oil & gas, offshore wind.
Advantage
* Marine / Offshore / Subsea design practices and developments
* Subsea / Marine / Offshore regulations, codes of practice, and design standards
* Ideally Chartered Engineer or progressing towards charted status.
* Experience in programming using Python is an advantage.
