Responsibilities:
1. Develop advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets.
2. Provide actionable insights to enhance decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
3. Collaborate with various business units, including clinical staff, to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
4. Ensure data quality and integrity.
5. Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations.
6. Lead and manage data science projects.
7. Mentor junior data scientists.
8. Uphold ethical standards, focusing on patient confidentiality and data security.
9. Stay updated with industry trends to improve methodologies.
Qualifications:
1. Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
3. Deep understanding of healthcare data and regulations.
Location & Work Arrangement:
The role is based in York. It offers a hybrid working model with weekly office attendance required.
