Hays are working in partnership with a leading global, multidisciplined engineering and constructionpany to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. This contractor provides a wide range of construction services across infrastructure sectors, including rail, water, power, and natural resources.
Your new role
1. Assist in the design and installation of mechanical systems
2. Support the preparation of specifications and procurement ofponents
3. Contribute to technical reports and risk assessments
4. Use specialist software for design and simulation
5. Participate in site visits and liaise with project teams
Technical Exposure
6. Pumping systems, valves, pipework, and supports
7. Access platforms, bridges, and mechanical structures
8. Installation techniques using lifting equipment
9. Mechanical design calculations and documentation
What you'll need to succeed
10. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or nearingpletion)
11. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/Revit is a plus
13. Excellentmunication and teamwork abilities
14. Full Driving Licence
