Our clients who is a nationwide roofing contractor is looking for a Contracts Manager to lead their team of contractors for various roofing projects.
They require someone that has flat roofing experience for this role.
The Role:
To be involved fully in the process of managing the professional execution of all contracts from receipt of the order.
This will involve:
Planning the contracts, agreeing the method of construction, recruiting, briefing and managing the sub-contract labour, supervisors and junior staff members.
You will be arranging delivery of skips, scaffolds and materials.
Develop good working relations with the Purchasing Manager / Buyer.
To ensure all contracts are executed on time, to specification and within cost targets. This will include:
Negotiating rates with sub-contractors & suppliers and ensuring these rates are within budget, taking every opportunity to maximise profitability to ensure the production process is achieved to a high standard in accordance with the customer expectations.
To maintain and improve the overall presentation and standards of operating performance of all staff and sub-contractors.
