A Senior Night Coach at SuperCare provides reassurance, safety, and stability while the children sleep. Nights can be unpredictable - some children may settle well, while others may wake anxious, distressed, or needing personal care. You'll be the calm, skilled presence who ensures that even in the quiet hours, the children feel safe, understood, and well cared for.
This home supports young people with severe to profound learning disabilities, autism and ADHD, many of whom are non-verbal and use PECS and Makaton. Several children also have epilepsy (training provided). The home recently achieved "Good" in its first Ofsted inspection and is aiming for Outstanding, with the right team in place.

You'll support children through the night with compassion, consistency, and professionalism:
* Support with toileting, bathing, continence, and nighttime medication

* Use PECS, Makaton, and visual supports to help with communication
* Respond safely to behaviours such as smearing, spitting or aggression
* Maintain routines that help children feel secure
* Keep accurate overnight records and provide clear morning handovers
* Work as the steady, experienced adult others look to for guidance
