Job Description Support Service Group (SSG) Team Member Derby Full Time, 4-shift rotas What you will be doing: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Service Group (SSG) team member to join the Production Test Facility (PTF) in Derby, within the Civil Aerospace Assembly & Test organisation. Responsibilities: As a member of the SSG team, you will be working with local operations management on a variety of daily duties both alone and as part of a small team, in addition to: Movement of engine components and whole engines around the PTF either on foot or with powered equipment such as forklifts. Movement and storage of engine build tooling and lifting equipment of all sizes around the facility. Basic maintenance and inspection of tooling. Final cleaning and packaging of finished engines. You will have completed accredited forklift training with recent workplace experience using standard forklifts. Driver trainer accreditation or heavy-duty forklift experience would be beneficial. Experience of working in a precision engineering or aerospace industry would be beneficial, with an appreciation for safety critical products.
