Position:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential business opportunities, initiating contact with prospects, and scheduling appointments for the Business Development team. This is a key role in driving pipeline growth and supporting the overall sales strategy.
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative who can ensure we meet our business growth objectives for our leading UK pharmacy product – RxWeb. This role will report directly into the Managing Director.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Engaging in outreach to new and existing accounts for lead generation.
* Generating sales through new business and existing business.
* Identifying growth and upgrade opportunities within the existing customer base.
* Attending sales meetings/demonstrations/presentations with potential and existing customers.
* Supporting inbound and outbound sales campaigns.
* Understanding of competitor products.
* Ongoing awareness of industry, market and product knowledge
* Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
* Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings for Business Development Managers.
* Collaborate with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and campaign responses.
* Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers.
* Achieve weekly/monthly KPIs including number of calls, emails, and booked appointments.
* Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:
* 1+ years of experience in a sales, customer service, or lead generation role (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
