Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team at Ach-an –Eas Care Home in Inverness as a Social Care Assistant. Here at Ach-an-Eas, we put the patient at the heart of everything we do and each colleague within our Care home plays a key role in how we support our residents.
Responsibilities
The SCA works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a high standard of care to our residents. Successful candidate will provide personal care for residents as well as supporting with all activities of daily living.
Qualifications and requirements
SVQ 2 is desirable, but training is given and opportunities to progress within the team are encouraged. Staff must be flexible, adaptable, and work to support other staff, who have responsibility to residents.
Hours and compensation
Shifts are on a rotational basis hour to be discussed. Enhancements are paid for weekend and out of hours work.
Eligibility
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
