About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have the opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. This includes assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and supporting social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key parts of your role.
Ideally, you'll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and are willing to pursue Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. Your positive energy, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage time effectively are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
