Church and Community Relationship Coordinator (Southampton and Hampshire)
The Church and Community Relationship Coordinator is a role focused on inspiring, resourcing, and activating individuals and churches to understand the biblical mandate to care for children and families. You will inspire them to respond and play their part in the solution.
The role will focus on growing relationships with church leaders, networks, and individual Christians. The Coordinator's role is to stir, resource, and activate the church as we work together to prevent children from entering the care system and to increase the number of safe and nurturing homes through fostering, adoption, and supported lodgings.
The role also includes recruiting and nurturing a team of volunteer Church Champions across your area to maximize our vision and multiply our impact.
Focus Area
You will work as part of the Southampton team, which includes staff located across the city. You should be able to travel easily across Southampton and Hampshire, with occasional travel to the wider South East and London areas.
Contract Type
This is a permanent contract, subject to continued partnership funding.
Hours of Work
Part-time, 0.6 FTE (22 hours 30 minutes per week)
Location
Based out of our Southampton office. Flexible remote working is available for some hours each week.

Holiday Entitlement
36 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas closure), with options to purchase additional leave and extra days added with length of service. Pro-rated for part-time staff.
