What's involved with this role: JOB TITLE: Housing Support & Inclusion Officer - Homelessness' Prevention REF: Bournemouth 5274328 Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 2 to 3 months Pay rate: £ 21.86 per hour PAYE Working Arrangement: You will be required to work locally on a daily basis, 5 days a week - essential Enhanced DBS is required - essential Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes on a daily basis - essential The role: On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Housing Support & Inclusion Officer to support households to remain in their own homes and proactively preventing homelessness. You will be required to work locally on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: Assist households who are homeless and living in temporary or emergency accommodation to secure a longer-term housing solution. Work within a team to find creative and sustainable housing options for customers Support team kin the delivery of a responsive front line duty service Support customers in a variety of tenure types including the private sector, social housing, and family arrangements. Deliver support in a variety of community settings including customers’ homes. Empower customers to live independently and sustain their accommodation. Work with vulnerable people who have a wide range of needs that may impact on their ability to sustain their home and Work effectively with partner agencies to implement a holistic support package tailored to household needs.
