This is a senior technical role focused on leading complex structural engineering, testing and assurance projects that support safer, more sustainable and higher‑performing buildings across the UK and internationally.
Key Requirements
* Chartered Structural Engineer status
* Strong knowledge of BS and EN codes and standards
* Experience leading complex structural engineering and testing programmes
* Strong understanding of static and dynamic structural behaviour
* Experience managing engineers, technicians and laboratory teams
* Ability to produce and review technical reports and proposals
* Knowledge of UK construction methods, materials and building systems
* Experience in structural inspection, assessment and fire performance
* Exposure to AutoCAD and FEA modelling
* Strong client‑facing and commercial skills
Role & Responsibilities
* Leading structural engineering activities and technical services
* Overseeing structural testing and assurance projects
* Developing and interpreting structural test regimes
* Managing laboratory‑based testing activities
* Coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams
* Producing technical proposals, reports and client deliverables
* Supporting client engagement, business development and industry representation
