Join to apply for the Drivers Mate role at GXO Logistics, Inc.
Location: Doncaster (DN4 8DG). Full-time, permanent role with a two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1 – Monday to Friday / Week 2 – Sunday to Thursday, starting at 11:00. Contracted to 40 hours per week.
Pay and benefits are as follows:
* Hourly rate of £12.21 (annual salary ~£25,396.80)

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Work as part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis – average 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drops per day in peak season
* Assist the delivery driver with parking, manoeuvring company vehicle, and loading/unloading as required
* Provide effective customer service and ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition
* Keep customers informed of estimated delivery times and communicate any issues politely and courteously
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience with multi-drop home delivery preferred but not essential
* Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal)
* Willingness to perform manual handling (pulling, lifting, pushing)
* Can-do attitude with problem-solving skills
* Willingness to undertake pre-employment DBS check
* Be prepared to commute to Doncaster (DN4 8DG) for the shift pattern
