Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair automotive issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre changes, and brake inspections.
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
* Conduct equipment repairs and ensure all tools are maintained in good working order.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
* Interpret technical manuals to understand vehicle systems.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
* Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with minimum 5 years experience in automotive repair.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Ability to interpret technical documentation effectively.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
* Capability to maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to safety standards.
* Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance and repair.
