We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join the Estates’ Team. The focus of this position will be to support the management of multiple refurbishment projects in our licensed premises ranging from multi-site rollouts to large capex projects. Joining us as an Assistant Project Manager you'll develop with the support of the team and a structured plan of becoming a fully fledged Project Manager. You'll work closely with experienced project managers and key stakeholders, supporting the end to end management of projects with our estate.

Key Attributes & Responsibilities:
•Working on development and refurbishment projects on licensed premises from brief through to completion with existing team members in the first instance to receive briefs, develop the project scope and design, and then manage the implementation of the approved project with a view to taking on your own workload in the future.
•Working on a range of projects from roll outs to major capex with a value range of £5k - £500k
•Assist in the collation, reporting and management of costs
•Learning the real-world challenges of project management including managing multiple projects in varying stages at any one time
•Develop experience in Identifying risks and obstacles to the successful delivery of projects and how to mitigate them
•Develop an understanding of statutory requirements, maintenance issues and the implications they have on both the design and scope of a project
•Gain an awareness of Health & Safety
•Develop an understanding and appreciation of the roles of internal and external stakeholders within the project lifecycle and how to liaise with and co-ordinate their input
•Gain a foundation in forecasting costs and timeframes for tasks and activities related to a project
•Planned progression to develop into a fully trained project manager within the hospitality field
The Ideal Candidate:
•Experience in either a construction (both professional or trade) or surveying discipline either through qualification or time served
•Ability to adapt and develop
•Desire to learn and progress to managing projects independently
•Enjoys working in a busy, fast paced environment
•Ability to work both as a team player and independently
•Strong and effective communicator
•Willing to travel throughout our estate
