Job Description:
The role is responsible for leading stages during the offnet access delivery cycle, including identifying partners, assessing access feasibility, delivery, account settlement, supplier management, and improving service experience. The objective is to ensure timely, successful offnet quoting and delivery at optimal costs. This tactical role influences the operational plans aligned with business strategy, impacting the overall results of the business unit in the mid-term.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify national and regional access suppliers/partners and assess competition to ensure last mile delivery.
2. Lead discussions and initial negotiations with potential access suppliers/partners regarding contractual capabilities.
3. Maintain strong relationships with access suppliers to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Explore opportunities to increase business with key vendors through new portfolios and order types.
5. Collaborate with product teams to develop new technology solutions with partners.
6. Design feasible offnet access solutions considering route maps, power and path diversity, tailored to local market needs.
7. Support sales and cross-functional teams with negotiations on pricing, partner offerings, and delivery to help secure complex deals.
8. Finalize and renew vendor contracts for network maintenance and installation to ensure optimal operation.
9. Conduct regular performance reviews with key suppliers covering pre-sales, feasibility, cost, delivery, and post-sales support.
10. Plan and contribute to jeopardy and contingency management to meet delivery timelines.
11. Experience in telecommunications, especially managing telco partners.
Desired Skills:
1. Understanding of global telecom networks and access technologies.
2. Technical and commercial knowledge in telecom supply chain.
3. Experience in large project planning and execution.
4. Knowledge of the access supply chain market regionally.
5. Understanding of the quote-to-cash process, including pricing, SLAs, legal and commercial terms.
