Job Description:
A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding Liverpool office.
The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will be SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, a core focus is on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work, primarily focused on infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals. The hire will act as a first point of contact for the European equities business, interfacing with multiple prime brokers.
The firm values progression and encourages internal development. The initial aim is for the hire to develop into an Operations Manager role. Other career paths within the global operations team include desk assistant, business management, treasury, and change management. There are also opportunities for top performers to transfer internationally in the future.
Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and strong technical skills.
The role offers a salary range of £80,000 to £110,000, with potential for significant bonuses based on performance.
