Role Overview:
As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on track with their learning.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
* Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour management and safeguarding.
* Provide feedback on student progress to relevant staff.
Essential Qualifications for Cover Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
* A ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic or employment setting.
* Previous teaching or classroom experience is essential.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* A passion for education and the ability to inspire young learners.
