Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
Use effective assessment for learning strategies to monitor progress.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Implement strong behaviour for learning practices in line with school policy.
Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives.
Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong passion for English.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
Ability to deliver high-impact teaching and maintain high expectations.
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.
Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school (preferred).
