About the Role
We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND, SEMH and other needs. Join our child‑centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people. You will plan and deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils and students ranging from KS1 – KS5 who are referred by local authorities and schools.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional mentoring and CPD support using the TES CPD suite.
* Support the SEND team to maintain a cohesive support environment around each learner.
* Participate in community and company events to share knowledge and resources.
* Assist with referral programmes to reward successful tutor referrals.
* Plan and report lessons, delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs across KS1‑KS5.
* Give regular feedback on student progress.
* Maintain safeguarding practices to create a safe learning environment.
Required Experience and Qualifications
* 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
* Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science core subjects.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
* Enhanced DBS check (facilitated by the company) and 2+ professional references.
Location & Compensation
Burnham‑on‑Sea, Somerset. £28‑£35 per hour, contract. Candidate must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
