MacGregor Black are partnering with a rapidly growing consumer products brand on the search for a Global Digital Director. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Essex.
As Global Digital Director, you will take ownership of the brand’s entire digital ecosystem - overseeing global eCommerce, marketplaces, CRM, loyalty, and performance marketing functions. You will define and deliver a unified digital strategy that drives customer acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value, ensuring a consistent and premium brand experience across all touchpoints.
This role requires a visionary digital leader with strong commercial acumen - someone who can balance strategic direction with operational execution, translating digital ambition into measurable growth while building a high-performing global digital team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of a global digital strategy encompassing D2C, marketplaces, CRM, and loyalty.
* Drive full-funnel performance, from acquisition to conversion, retention, and advocacy, ensuring seamless customer journeys and sustainable growth.
* Oversee global eCommerce operations, optimising platform performance, conversion rates, and onsite experience.
* Define and manage marketplace strategy across key platforms, balancing brand presence with commercial outcomes.
* Develop and implement a global retention and loyalty programme that strengthens customer relationships and lifetime value.
* Partner with regional and functional leaders to ensure digital initiatives align with brand, commercial, and operational priorities.
* Establish data-driven frameworks for performance tracking, reporting, and continuous optimisation.
* Build and lead a best-in-class global digital team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
* Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies, ensuring the brand remains digitally progressive and consumer-centric.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a senior digital leadership role within an international consumer goods or lifestyle brand.
* Deep understanding of full-funnel digital marketing, eCommerce, marketplaces, and CRM/loyalty.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving measurable business growth through digital channels.
* Experienced in building and leading global teams, fostering collaboration across regions and functions.
* Analytical and data-driven mindset, with fluency in digital performance metrics and optimisation strategies.
* Confident operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment.
* Passionate about delivering exceptional consumer experiences through innovative digital solutions.
