Asbestos Consultant
who will carry out specialist asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of property types.
Role Responsibilities
* Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures.
* Carry out additional duties including collecting site data, transport of asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited laboratories approved by the company, and completing asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
* Conduct air monitoring and 4‑stage clearance procedures in line with HSG248 and our UKAS‑accredited procedures.
* Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support when required.
* Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality, Contracts, Projects Managers and Supervisor as and when required, and liaise with clients where necessary.
* Set a personal example and generally promote the company in a professional manner at all times.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
* BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent).
* BOHS P403/P404 qualified (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
* In-depth knowledge of HSG264 and HSG248.
* Strong knowledge of site analytical and removal practices.
* Familiarity with TEAMS useful but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence.
