Are you passionate about people, wellbeing and positive workplace culture? We're looking for a dynamic HR & Training Manager to help us continue to build an organisation where people feel supported, included and inspired.
The HR & Training Manager is responsible for the implementation of the organisation’s HR strategy, alongside the Head of HR & Estates. This role will manage all HR services, policies and programs to meet the needs of workforce management across the organisation. The role is key in managing organisation culture and change effectively, developing and implementing any identified HR and training projects.
Salary: £35,207 to £36,889 per annum
Location: East Lancashire
Closing date: August 4th 2025
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute
* resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and
* Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and
* knowledge share best practice with them.
* Support Managers in performance management of their teams
* ensuring process is followed and applied appropriately.
* Provide first line advice on any new or existing cases for employees
* and managers.
* Manage workforce and succession planning, in line with contractual
* and development requirements.
* Management and development of a training and development
* programme which will take forward our aim to foster a culture of
* learning with a strong team working ethic and high levels of employee
* engagement.Identify new training opportunities for staff and assess which are
* appropriate and within the budget you manage.
* Collaborate in the continued development of a staff wellbeing
* programme with support from managers that meets the needs of
* employees and is sustainable.
* Lead on the DEI group, supporting DEI Champions to meet action
* plan and objectives.
Qualifications
* CIPD qualification/registration or equivalent experience (Essential)
