At Avante Care & Support, we’re a well-established, not-for-profit Registered Charity that’s been making a difference in the lives of over 1,000 older people. Through our nursing, dementia care homes, and home care services, we provide personalised care with a focus on meaningful experiences.
We’re currently looking for a Full-Time Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Amherst Court, Chatham.

As our Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in bringing this vision to life by creating and delivering a diverse range of engaging activities that meet the individual needs of our residents.
Your Role:
* Create and coordinate a variety of social, cultural, and recreational activities tailored to each resident’s interests and needs.
* Promote independence and engagement by offering activities that stimulate both the body and mind—whether planned or spontaneous.
* Collaborate with families, staff, and volunteers to enrich the lives of residents through community connections.
* Activities may include music and movement, games, gardening, arts & crafts, reminiscence therapy, local outings, and more!
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
* Is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people.
* Has a Health & Social Care NVQ 2 (or similar qualification).
* Has experience in recreational activities and creating a community-based environment.
* Has energy, creativity, and a caring personality to motivate and inspire residents.
* A full driving license is preferred, but not essential.
