PDMS Designer – Contract outside IR35 – North West We currently have a requirement for a PDMS Design Engineer on a contract basis, the position is working on a large scale project within the Energy sector. If you are an independent contractor with experience producing PDMS Design’s within the HVAC sector, please read on: PDMS Designer Role Responsibilities: * Provide independent PDMS Design and modelling services to support the large scale delivery of a large Energy project. * Deliver PDMS output on an agreed package of work, ensuing design models and deliverables can be progressed. * Produce 3D models in PDMS for HVAC, chilled water pipework and associated small steelwork. * Development and update of model layouts, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards. * Independent clash detection and model coordination across multi-disciplines. * Generate design outputs (isometrics, drawings, general arrangements) directly from PDMS. * Provision of advisory mark-ups and technical feedback for design improvements. * Support reviewing supplier 3D models and advising on compliance and interrogation. * Creating and maintaining PDMS for Mechanical and HVAC systems. PDMS Designer Role Requirements: * A strong background in 3D Design, using PDMS. * Experience in HVAC and mechanical modelling for large scale projects, Energy/Defence experience would be desirable. ...
