Job Overview
The Associate Director, Talent Management for Allergan Aesthetics will join a diverse, collaborative team of specialists whose primary focus is to support AbbVie’s strategic talent management strategy and initiatives. This individual will be instrumental in educating and consulting with leaders and Business Human Resources (BHR) on talent management best practices to drive talent outcomes and business performance for Allergan Aesthetics International.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with the Global AA Talent Manager, BHR and key stakeholders to establish and implement talent strategies in Aesthetics
* Partner with leadership teams to identify top talent within the International organization and differentiate their development, creating a deep pipeline of talent
* Guide the Human Resources and AA Leadership team to shape the talent agenda and make strong talent decisions that align that drives business success
* Lead process implementation for Performance Management and Talent Reviews; train BHR on practice, process and tools. Support BHR and leaders to implement the practices consistently. Drive better process and talent outcomes year over year
* Provide proficient consultation on all phases of talent management such as succession planning, talent assessment and development, pipelining, and senior leader transitions
* Assess data for Allergan Aesthetics International; provide insights and take a point of view that lead to solutions and actions to build capability of talent
* Collaborate with AA leadership and stakeholders to assess, provide input on, and develop strategies to fill gaps in the talent pipeline
* Lead several forums to drive talent sharing across Allergan Aesthetics International, and with AbbVie Commercial
* Lead meetings with senior level audiences and facilitate virtual and in-person enterprise programs
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree
* Experience in Human Resources, preferably with emphasis in Talent Management
* Fluency and experience working with HR analytics to drive decision-making
* Demonstrated results in working in a matrix and virtual environment required; preferred experience working in Aesthetics for large multinational company
* Proven experience leading teams indirectly; effective in managing complex projects across multi-disciplinary, matrix environments
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build executive ready presentations and communicate effectively with executive audiences
* Experience with developing strategies and implementing related tactics
* Experience leveraging senior business leaders to sponsor solutions
* Exceptional stakeholder management and consulting skills
