Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter (Self Employed) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting estate agency signs (Residential & Commercial), changing them when sold and then collecting them on completion. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Duties / Skills
* Morning loading of the van to carry out the days installations.
* Pre start checks to carry the correct signs, fixings and tools needed for that day.
* Knowledge of the Northwest areas (training will be given also)
* Assemble and fit signs using hand tools, power tools.
* Must be able to drive vans, no more than 3.5t max
* Clean license is needed (minor points will be accepted)
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Ensuring all signs are fitting correctly, before signing job as completed.
* To be able to use an app based navigation system on a smartphone.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
* Be able to use ladders and go to a first floor level height.
* Working outdoors in most weather conditions, unless it's deemed dangerous.
* Wear company branded uniform when supplied.
