The school is seeking a compassionate, committed and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2025. About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils aged 2-19 with SLD, PMLD, complex needs, and communication difficulties. Work as part of a highly skilled team to provide personalised learning, sensory activities, and therapeutic support. Assist with mobility, personal care, feeding, and communication techniques (training provided). Create a nurturing, consistent, and safe environment that promotes independence and wellbeing. Support EHCP targets through structured activities and 1:1 or small-group work. Experience in SEN settings is beneficial but not essential-the school welcomes applicants with empathy, patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
