My client is a family owned premium food manufacturing business steeped in heritage supplying into the foodservice and retail channels.
Job Description
As Commerical Controller - Foodservice and Retail
3. You will own a portfolio of key foodservice and retail accounts ( Brakes, Bidfood, as well as top four grocers and discounters)
4. Develop and deliver customer-specific Joint Business Plans, driving listings, pricing, promotional campaigns, and NPD launches
5. Monitor and forecast performance (volume, margin); own P&L with regular commercial reviews
6. Build deep, strategic relationships-from senior buyers to field team members
7. Stay on top of market trends, competitor activities, and logistics/distribution to strengthen propositions
8. Develop a team of 2 BDM's
The Successful Applicant
9. Experience managing major foodservice/wholesale accounts for a food manufacturer
10. Strong negotiation, JBP creation, margin optimisation, P&L ownership
11. From C-suite buyers to ops teams, you influence with clarity, empathy, and strategic insight
12. New business focus with knowledge of the route to market
13. You work closely with marketing, NPD, supply chain, and leadership to ensure flawless execution
