CNC Turner (Fanuc)
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours:
⦁ Monday-Thursday: 07:45 - 16:15
⦁ Friday: 07:45 - 12:45
(Flexitime for earlier starts)
Our client is currently recruiting a fully skilled CNC Turner with Fanuc programming experience to set and operate our CNC turning machines in a high-quality aerospace and nuclear manufacturing environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, producing components ranging from one-offs to medium batch quantities. Materials include mainly aluminium and stainless steel, with work varying from simple to highly complex precision parts.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
⦁ Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge of modern CNC machine tools
⦁ Fanuc control experience essential (programming, setting & operating)
⦁ Proven experience machining aluminium and stainless steel
⦁ Manual machining experience
⦁ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
⦁ Competent using precision measuring equipment
⦁ Adaptable to machining special or bespoke components
⦁ Disciplined approach to paperwork in line
