General Cover Classroom Teacher
Milk Education is seeking flexible, confident, and proactive General Cover Teachers to work across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Sunderland, Gateshead, South Tyneside, and Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for versatile educators who enjoy teaching across different subjects and supporting young people in their day-to-day learning.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects at KS3–KS4.
2. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive, productive learning environment.
3. Adapt teaching approaches to suit the needs of different groups.
4. Supervise students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher.
5. Provide support and continuity of learning to pupils across multiple departments.
6. Work collaboratively with school staff and Milk Education to meet school expectations and priorities.
Requirements:
7. MUST have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role.
8. Confident delivering lessons across various secondary subjects (no subject specialism required).
9. Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
10. Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff quickly.
11. Adaptability, resilience, and a positive, professional approach.
12. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
