Your new company Hays are recruiting for a Digital Content Producer on behalf of the Northern Ireland Assembly on a temporary basis. Your new role As Digital Content Producer, you will be responsible for creating and managing digital content for the Northern Ireland Assembly, including social media videos and website content. You will work with the Communications Team to deliver the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission's content plans, tracking and evaluating the performance of content against objectives. You will be responsible for: Filming and editing video content for publication on the Assembly's social media channels, website and intranet. Work as part of a team in the development of new Assembly video and audio productions. In-vision and voiceover presentation to appear in visual and audio productions for the Assembly's website, social media channels and intranet to tell the story of the Northern Ireland Assembly. Design and publish software graphics to enhance the branding and messaging of the Assembly. Monitoring mailboxes for content creation requests, completing work within agreed deadlines. Knowledge of regulatory compliance matters, such as GDPR and accessibility to ensure that all content meets these standards. Taking part in creative sessions around the development of new content. Working closely with the Communications Officers to help them create and evaluate content for external awareness and engagement campaigns such as those for committee work using social adverts and organic social media posts (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) and also for internal communications. Maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including MLAs, Assembly Commission staff, officials from Executive departments and members of the public. Managing information and records in accordance with established policies and statutory requirements, including the gathering of information and co-ordination of responses to information requests including Freedom of Information requests. Complying with all Assembly Commission's staff policies and procedures, including Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work policies and procedures. Carrying out other duties that the Assembly Commission reasonably requires of you. What you'll need to succeed At least a primary degree, minimum 2.2 classification, in any subject and at least two years' experience with: a) Regular use of camera equipment and video editing software for business needs; b) Using online graphics software, for example, Canva; c) Promoting strategic messaging or corporate storytelling using and posting to social media platforms; and d) Using analytics/insights to measure the impact of content on the web and/or social channels. OR GCSE/GCE 'O' level passes at grades A* to C in four subjects including English language AND four years' experience in the criteria (a) to (d) above.
