Salary - £26,403 - £28,142 (Grade 4)
Hours - 37 per week

The City of Wolverhampton Council are seeking to strengthen its ICT service by recruiting a Service Desk Analyst to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced support team that provides advice, support and implements solutions to several customers in an enterprise environment. You will join a professional, friendly and energetic team and will be responsible for providing 1st line ICT support to 4500 customers, including maintaining and supporting equipment, software and services.
You must have excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to relay technical information to a variety of audiences at multiple levels. You will have recent experience in an ICT support environment delivering 1st line support in a Windows-based enterprise environment, demonstrated through application and interview. A GCSE level qualification or equivalent is required; an ICT qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Work style
All council roles are allocated to either fixed, field or flexible work style. Roles with a fixed workstyle operate from a fixed permanent council location. Field roles may require work in the community with a minimal touch-down space at a council location. Flexible roles provide a base location and allow work from home or other locations as required to meet service needs.
