The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a proven Principal Process Engineer to spearhead key water infrastructure projects for one of our key engineering EPC clients. This role will put you in a pivotal role, leading a team of Engineers. As Principal Process Engineer, you’ll have a key influence in delivering high-profile projects across the regulated UK water sector
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Providing technical leadership to ensure all process design outputs meet safety, quality and regulatory expectations
Developing and selecting efficient process solutions based on scope, site data and project constraints, and clearly communicating these to internal teams and clients
Leading, mentoring and developing engineers and graduates, setting direction and maintaining high technical standards
Reviewing and approving process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic sizing, flow diagrams, control philosophies and commissioning strategies
Interpreting, briefing and guiding teams on technical standards, procedures and updates, while contributing expert input to projects and tenders
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Significant process design experience within the regulated UK water industry, with strong delivery of wastewater treatment solutions
In?depth knowledge of wastewater unit processes and treatment plant design
Accredited with a BEng or MEng in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Strong digital and document control capability, with experience managing design change and review processes
It’s great if you also have the following
Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution
