We’re on the lookout for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead the strategic design and delivery of high-impact learning initiatives for a fast-paced, purpose-driven training organisation. In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of the L&D strategy — aligning it with business transformation, workforce planning, and inclusive growth. From developing leadership programmes to optimising digital learning tools, you’ll play a key role in shaping a resilient, high-performing workforce. What you’ll be doing: Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of the L&D strategy aligned to business goals. Partner with senior leaders to identify skills gaps and tailor impactful learning interventions. Drive innovation across leadership development, onboarding, apprenticeships, and digital learning. Integrate workforce data, evaluation frameworks, and learning technologies to continuously enhance performance and engagement. Inspire and manage a small L&D team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and excellence. Champion inclusion and diversity through accessible, progressive learning pathways. What we’re looking for: Proven experience designing and delivering strategic L&D programmes that drive business value. A confident people leader with strong coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. CIPD or equivalent L&D qualification; coaching accreditation (ILM, CMI, or similar) highly desirable. Hands-on experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools. A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to juggle priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience working within a training or education-focused organisation is a plus.
