Overview
We are looking for an Executive Assistant on a 12-month Fixed-Term basis to provide support to assigned Desk Heads, alongside administrative and logistical support to the assigned Sales and Trading teams. This role would be primarily supporting Credit and FX businesses.
RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
* Provide administrative and logistical support to include:
* Diary management to assigned Senior Leader(s)
* Booking business travel / accommodation / events
* Processing invoices
* Monitoring holiday bookings
* Prepare agendas, presentations and other documents
* Coordinate meetings as required for Front Office staff
* Desk moves
* Support with marketing and arranging entertainment events, preparing the appropriate request forms and client details as required
* Identify areas of opportunity to improve processes and save costs within the business
* Cover other Executive Assistants when necessary
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to work calmly under pressure, both independently and within team settings
* Track record of managing clients and customers in various settings
* Strong organisational skills, event planning experience and the ability to manage multiple requests
* Competent in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice-to-have
* Considerable experience as an Executive Assistant
* Experience in using internal systems, tools and technology platforms to support day-to-day operations efficiently
