This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates from any discipline to work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, with the potential to train as a Cover Supervisor – developing classroom leadership skills and preparing for a future in teaching or education.
Whether you're aiming for teacher training, educational psychology, youth work, or simply want to explore the education sector, this role offers valuable, flexible experience across a range of settings.
The Role:
Support students in class, provide 1:1 and small group interventions
Work closely with teachers to manage behaviour and learning outcomes
Receive full training to step into a Cover Supervisor role – confidently leading pre-set lessons in the absence of a teacher
Choose roles tailored to your subject strengths, interests (e.g., SEN, EAL, core subjects) and location preference (Bolton, Wigan, or Warrington)
What We’re Looking For:
A recent graduate (2:2 or above in any subject)
A confident, enthusiastic and adaptable individual
A genuine interest in working with young people
Previous experience with children or in education is a bonus – but not essential
What’s on Offer:
Competitive daily pay: £89.38 – £105 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)
