We're on the lookout for a motivated and customer-focused Driver to be the face of our branch! You'll play a key role in delivering and collecting goods efficiently and safely, while representing our brand with professionalism and a can-do attitude.

From loading and unloading to ensuring deliveries are spot on, you’ll need a keen eye for detail, great communication skills, and a willingness to go the extra mile. You’ll also need to lift and move stock, so being physically fit is important.

*Responsibilities*
* Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of materials, particularly when using flatbed lorries.
* Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and fuel efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure personal safety as well as the safety of others on the road
*Hours*
Monday - Friday 45 hour per week
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) is essential.
* Experience with flatbed lorries is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
