Contract Manager (FM/HVAC/M&E)
Salary: 55k
Location: Dartford, with some client site visits
We are seeking a Contract Manager for our client, a recognized leader within the M&E and Facilities Management sector, serving a varied blue-chip client base across both commercial and public sectors.
About the role:
1. Ensure contracts meet operational and technical standards of service delivery across all on-site works.
2. Support H&S parties to ensure all on-site works are conducted safely, adhering to company protocols, and escalate any incidents promptly for resolution.
3. Operate contracts in accordance with company procedures, operational and financial processes, client KPIs, and work instructions.
4. Manage and report on budgets and expenditures.
5. Maintain all works, records, and compliance data up-to-date on-site and in the back office to appropriate standards.
6. Work within financial budgets to provide cost-effective and fit-for-purpose services.
7. Oversee process and site conduct for all staff involved in contract services, escalating issues to relevant management.
8. Create operating procedures and policies to promote best practices.
9. Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure contract retention and identify future opportunities.
10. Provide detailed quotes for contract plant/services, including scope and cost breakdown.
11. Conduct quality assurance inspections on a scheduled basis and maintain records.
12. Perform weekly self-audits of core CAFM reports to ensure compliance with company standards.
13. Participate in monthly contract review meetings with the Head of Department or other Contract Managers.
14. Provide technical and administrative support to clients and support staff.
About You:
1. Extensive experience managing high-profile portfolio contracts valued up to 2 million.
2. Proven ability to take overall contractual, operational, and financial responsibility for contracts.
3. Experience in delivering performance and KPI reports to clients.
4. Track record of managing P&L for multiple contracts.
5. Ability to understand and communicate basic mechanical concepts, works, and technical strategies.
